Hi all!

So my wife and I bought a 03 prerunner double cab. The front seats while okay are probably in need of replacement. Does anyone know of any seats that offer height adjustment that would fit okay? The stock seat height is noticeably too short for her, and we don't want anything permanent since then it'd way too tall for me. If the height adjustment is manual (aka 06+ FJ cruiser) thats okay, but obviously if there happened to be a power height/ lumbar/ heated option even better (yes I know I'd have to run power for a power seat). I'm thinking I'll just have to weld our rails onto a new seat to get the fit but beyond that not too sure.

 

There isn’t any bolt in options, anything you do will require custom work to make a tacoma bracket fit on another set so you can bolt that seat in

 

That's what I was kind of thinking. By chance any idea what seats with height adjustment would physically fit?

 

No clue, never really looked into it that much because my limited tacomas seats fit me perfectly

 

I put seats from a RSX in mine and the driver side has lumbar and height adjustment. It will take some fabrication to get them to mount. You are better off cutting the rails off your stock seats and welding them to the rsx seats. They do sit noticeably higher at the lowest position though, so they may be too high for you.

Tacoma Interceptor mod!

 

I have a bar the reaches across the rails to the front bumper that is welded so I can put lights behind the lower opening on the bumper, no cutting of the plastic and works with a license plate

From what he's replied to other people that's what he said but I cant seem to find anything like it anywhere. Cant find any land cruisers with it either. Maybe I'm searching or looking in the wrong places.
