    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
That shit is getting really close to where I hunt. I'm going up there this weekend. Hopefully the fire is headed away from our spot.

I can’t remember the Jeep guy’s name at Modesto welding, but when I picked up some c02 he said they reworked a good sized gate keeper now into that new section of Slick Rock. Part of the issue was the private land crossing at the beginning and part of the issue is the rangers were tired of having to go in and pull out vehicles that didn’t belong back there. No idea how big the gate keeper is

Clark Fork is getting hammered 2 years in a row.

I am positive someone is setting these fires.
Last year I think it was actually CalFire that had a control burn get away from them, or sparked it with equipment.

A buddy of mine drove through Clark Fork mid morning the day that fire started last year. He said he saw a bunch of CalFire working up there but there was no fire at the time... then the fire supposedly started by dry lightning, later that day... my buddy said that is complete horseshit, there was absolutely nothing that would have caused dry lightning up there that day.

Went from 3rd Gen Taco to 3GT4R to 2nd Gen Taco and finally a V8 4GT4R.
Been saying this since last year. There are way too many fires for it to all be natural causes. Even the smaller fires around the rural Bay Area are claimed to be natural.

I think many of them are being deliberately set.

Last spring I was up there and got talking with a ranger (I’m still new to this area) and the massive rim fire (?) that happened a number of years ago was actually started on purpose. The jackwagon who set it was poaching way back there and got lost and stuck. So he set a small fire to get rescued and it became one of the largest fires in their history. The ranger said the guy was part of a prominent family so they agreed to keep the family name out of it by saying it was a campfire that got away. Now the jackwagon lives out of state because he’s basically banned from California.

You can pretty much guarantee that as soon as the news reports a red flag day there will at least three new fires...coincidence? Maybe but I doubt it.

This week isn’t letting up either. Temps almost reaching 100 in some areas. Tough to see many parts of CA that we all go to escape are burning down!

I haven't even dabbled into electrical too much but what would be the use of an extra battery if you don't have a ton of things drawing power (i.e. fridge, lights, compressor, etc)?

My 2nd battery is going to be for lights, compressor, winch, and eventually fridge, also an inverter to run light 120v while camping.

If you don't have big draws, or you're not going to run off battery for things without the truck running, you really wouldn't need a 2nd batt.

Once I get a tonneau on the rig then I will be adding more electrical shit. I do want to add another outlet or modify my existing one to enable me to have a voltage meter for the dual batteries. Also a solar panel setup too. Is it necessary? Absolutely not LMAO but at least you know you are ready if the world ends and your rig is the only thing running
