My truck has been all over the place and through all sorts of trails and ive never had an issue. Im pretty confident that if it did it would be the least of my worries.

The main slider comes welded together, but the legs and plates need welded.

 

Ah they don’t have double cab longbed looks like I’m working from scratch gunna mock up with wood first to get it right

 

@Arcticelf has made some (i think) and may be able to give some pointers

 

I bet if you call, you can get them to make them longer for DCLBs.

 

Its worth a try.

 

It also helps if you live near or are willing to travel to Platteville, WI to save on shipping and pick them up directly. I'm lucky my wife's family lives in WI so I'll just pick them and their skid set up at some point when I have fun money.

I think you’re going to need more than the U channel for this sliders. Need more beef.

 

Did some work on a rear bumper.

 

Oh just looks a little thin in the pic.

 

Got to this point on the front bumper. Thinking of some dimple died plate for it.

 

Hope it never gets old hearing this, but your front and rear bumper came out CHAMPION @Darkgoatracer!

Got my rear crossmember made and installed. Not complete yet but it’s together, just a couple minor things to do.

 

Made a hoop for some lights

 

How are you guys bending this stuff? With a harbor freight style bender?
