Busy working on the truck this morning. Trying to get as much time I can working on it. Not much time for internet stuff. Then when I got to work we hit the ground running because it’s Monday.

I finally was able to hit a trail this weekend and went up Argentine last night for something simple. I got a late start and got there around 2pm, it was kind of a shit show at the trail head, clogged with trucks, trailers, 3 jeeps airing back up and right as I started to ascend 3 side-by-sides came down as well as a jeep up behind me. Before I could even back up off the trail they wanted to just squeeze by within literal inches of me. Behind them was 2 tacomas and a jeep so I planned to just hop off the trail since I was so close to the start. The jeep behind me didn't want to get out of the way even with the other jeep dudes telling him to move. So I backed straight back enough the tacos and jeep could come down. I almost didn't want to continue if that's what was expected going up. Fortunately I only passed maybe 10 coming down, but clearly since I've been gone trail etiquette does not exist anymore.

At the big open area by the mine you can see tracks of people ripping through the marshy run off area.

Made it up to the top of the pass where a fully rhino-lined dodge 2500 sat right smack in the middle of the trail to where I couldn't even get passed to the turn-around loop so I politely told him to pull off out of the way so I could at least turn around.

Coming down I passed a lifted F-150 with 2 light bars on a roof rack, 3 pod LEDs on each side. There was a small turn out section right beside him he could of moved to but instead he decided to back up straight off the trail over a bunch of trees and looked at me like I was the idiot

This all seem normal to you guys? I was pretty annoyed but I guess I shouldn't be surprised from what others have said with trash, people getting off trail, etc. I'm sure more trails will close in the future.

I've actually had some pretty good experiences recently, with folks being willing to back down skinny roads, pick up trash, etc. That said, you're not making me want to head up Argentine pass anytime soon.

I have a few feet (~3') of that Trail Toys edge trim left over after my bumper install. I think it was you who mentioned wanting some. It is all yours if you want it.

There was def more good than bad and I'm sure that's the case with most trails. It's not enough to keep me away, just frustrating to see as it's getting more common

Sounds about right. I havent gone up once this year, and will prolly wait till late fall before i do. If i do. Colorado has become quite disappointing lately.

Damn tired. Stupid neighbor left his dog out all night. Wasn't a consistent bark. But about every 10 mins just so I could not get back to sleep. :annoyed:

This sounds about right now a days. Especially in that area. Camping on Kenosha Pass is just plain stupid now. It's like camping at the city park now. You have people every 10ft. The amount of inexperienced ignorance on the trail is ever-growing. Hence why longer trips further away from the front Range are preferred.

I guess we should plan one soon. :D

Well that's lame.. I did find that going later in the afternoon may have made for less people? The dudes who had just finished in the jeep said it was rush hour up there.

Got any suggestions @Gramps? If it's a weekday thing I'll need about a week to 2 in advance

Not quite 2 weeks in advance, but I'll be driving through Medicine Bow NF in Wyoming next week (mon - Fri). Will probably loop down into North Park on the way back. Plan is to stay off pavement as much as possible. Also gonna do some hiking/fishing/biking along the way.

You can have it for free. I’m not nearly as knowledgeable or skillful when it comes to our trucks as most people on here, so I like to try and give back to the community when/how I can.

Cool bud. Thanks I’ll pm you later this week or weekend to see when you’re available for me to come and get it. I’ll do the best I can because I’m stuck working on the truck.

Great minds think alike. I’ve never seen the Crazy mountain before, though.

I want to get into the gulches above Keystone near Montezuma. Lots of trails I have not yet explored. Hell you should have seen one of them while you were up on the summit of Argentine.

Me either, found it at the store near my house. And it's local.

The 2 other Tacomas? Yeah I saw them, they exited as I was heading up
    I can't the following 2 weekends but how's the 25th sound
