    Thanks for the update, I know I’ve already been made aware.

    Never owned a 2nd Gen, but if they’re like the 1st gens it’s metal (maybe 3/16”). It looks like plastic.

    OPs original post was related to the lower front filler piece. The bumpers we have been discussing replace that plastic piece with a hard steel/winch mountable version.

    I understand but I'm pretty sure that piece stays on for the SSO bumper and is just cut.

    I just got my tacoma back from dealership who replaced the bumper and valance under the bumper to bumper warranty. Here is a picture of the finish product

    I put a line of glue where the yellow line is in the picture... I did this on both the driver and passenger side of the bumper. I used a bottle jack and a piece of wood to hold the bumper in place while the glue dried.

    When I sold my Cummins Ram and got the TRD Pro, the first thing I noticed was how cheap and thin the bumpers were. The Ram had thick steel bumpers you certainly wouldn’t want to get hit by.
