There's your problem. Either a defective seal or an installation problem.

    Sucks.
Now. Did you have to remove the rack off the truck? Or were you able to work with it on it?

Had to pull the rack off the truck.

It wasn't that bad, since I've already cut allot of shit out of the way on the front end, and this was rack remove and install #3.

I’ve been ON it. I think a 2nd Gen might end up on its nose at the bottom though. Probably have to Winch off of being high centered as well.

I went back over when RA and I were running back to the parking lot and put my front bumper into the ground pretty hard.

    To many, but never done
Finally got to much needed maintenance...both CV in need of repair or replace, skids to punch back out on press brake, grinding and painting... Who put all the sand in my truck?:tumbleweed:
At least I got the skids off, cleaned out engine bay, changed plugs-needed! Holy .077!!!
My favorite part was me putting skid marks in my lawn due to wood chunks in yard with wet crabgrass....Oops:rofl::proposetoast:

It's a fun little obstacle. I blew my front diff trying to go the other way up and over, 2 years ago. Wanted redemption this past year but broke it at Jotters so I couldn't get the redemption I wanted. Now I have three trails/obstacles I need redemption on. Red line coming out of Cemetary, Jotters, and this. Need a crawl box. And SAS. But a crawl box would be a good start.

Well looks like I'll have a little more peace of mind for this trip; sliders are shipping soon & was able to add a full set of skids at the last minute; had to take advantage of the deal I got a little further. I probably still won't pull a @steele-taco but at least I have a little more safety that I'll be able to drive home after the weekend.

How is this for beginner off-roading? I have a 2016 long bed. No lift but I do plan on putting BFG Ko2's on it soon. Would this meet be doable for me next year?
