Is the cutoff 20 people? I thought we were close last time.

I could use this money for something else now rather than for payments towards this.
Maybe its best to buy at another time...

Zippers got a little annoying in the wind..

First cord i found was for a tent pole repair kit.

    0805181605.jpg

    Ahh silence.

    0805180834a.jpg

And another night in windy 30 degree weather and rain.

    Completely dry inside, slept great.

Did you cut off the pull down straps? Those were annoying when it was windy.

Absolutely! They were tied but still made noise. since the truck is wide enough, i stand on the bedsides to open and close it and to use it.. So there is no need for them.

Next mod will be an alternative to the straps, I'll keep everyone posted on what i use.

Yeah I usually switch out all my zipper pulls with 550 cord and heat shrink over them, usually looks cleaner and cuts down on the noise

    OK so I’m toying with the idea of a RTT and have a couple questions;

I would use it on a DCSB with a Leer topper. I have not been through the entire thread but I have seen a couple pics of this rig on toppers but can’t tell if they are Yakima or Thule bars. I have also seen pics with four bars.

So I guess that leaves the question as can you use Yakima round bars and do I need two or four?

Two bars and it'll adapt to basically any bars out there.

Mine is a ROLA rack which has pretty wide bars and it fits fine.

You will be happy with the purchase of this rtt... Unless you cray cray.

I am using two Rhino Rack HD bars on my Leer long bed canopy. I thought about three, but I don't think it's necessary if you space out the bars evenly and near the areas where you plan on putting most of your weight on.

After a crazy month I finally got this thing installed! We've spent one night in it, and are taking off for a week-long adventure through Maine's Northern Allagash Wilderness next week where we'll use it each night.

I think I'm the first guy to get one without a Toyota, so here you can all feast your eyes on how sexy it is on other vehicles.

@ChandlerDOOM I can e-mail you these full-res for your website if you'd like.
