Silly ol' USPS had my dual maps "out for delivery" yesterday and they never came....now they're back "in transit" but really just sitting at my post office. smh

 

usps has been horrible lately it’s so crazy

 

Just checked earlier today it was scheduled for tomorrow now it's out for delivery Not bad as Jefferson is only 50 miles away. Will have stuff to show on what did you do to your 2nd Gen. Today, Tomorrow. Although one I had a package coming from Reno NV 120 mile away and it took 2 week and even made a stop in Anchorage Alaska

 

Same thing happened to me, but it says being held at the post office per request of the customer...I did no such thing. I want those bad boys shipped right to me. Oh well

 

Had a package last week that shipped from TX to AK and spent a few days in Puerto Rico.

 

@mesojdm I'm assuming all 2nd Gen Map and Dome light varieties be posted in first post of this thread? Like the RGB Dome, etc?

 

RGB isn’t finished yet he has plans but nothings done yet

So my dual maps arrived. Installation wasn't great. The pins inside my console kept getting pushed inward and stretched because the outermost "clip" of the light didn't want to snap over it. Also, I had to wrap the connection between the board and the plug with electrical tape as it was very loose. Seeing I had to remove it twice to realize I had to wrap the connector, one of my pins got pushed too far inward so that light is currently hanging onto 3 of the 4 pins. The right one also had to be wrapped but snapped in a lot easier. White light is BRIGHT. Gonna check out the reds later after it gets dark.

At first I was getting pretty irritated, but I had to remind myself that this isn't a mass produced item by a large company, yet a very creative and innovative member of TW offering up a great product. Once it all got installed, it functions great and looks OEM. Definitely happy.

 

I’m interested in the half-and-half fronts And the white for the dome. Both in Gray. When do you think you’ll have more stock available? And is there a line or anything you’re creating as a placeholder?

 

First come first serve, just keep an eye on the thread. All moldings are gray as far as I know as stated in the original post. Good luck!

 

Arrived to day and installed in 10 minuets max. Those Suckers are bright it will be nice a night. For yuks and a change of pace my get red domes and red and white maps so I can change on a whim

 

This was pretty much the same experience I had also, but they are definitely worth every penny

 

That was my exact experience with the dual led map lights. Love the product and idea...but wiring connections were loose on both lights and one of the lights was extra tight snapping in, which broke one of the tabs on my console.

But overall worth the money!

Any plans for a dual red/white dome light?
