Thanks for the heads up. There are hail damaged cars up here too...Longmont, Boulder, Greeley, maybe even parts of Loveland and Fort Collins all got hit. I'm actually not opposed to a hail damaged car either.

I actually picked up a hail damaged RAV4 earlier this year that fits just what you are looking for. 2008 limited V6, great mechanical condition, lots of hail dents, but still is getting me over 25mpg. I found it as a private seller for $5500. Definitely look around for something like that as you can get some great mechanical value for your money by sacrificing the looks a bit. For my commuting it is perfect and I like not having to worry about it sitting outside.

Roger that. That's basically what I'm looking for...a good deal on something that's mechanically descent and looks ok but doesn't have to be perfect physically.

I don't agree. The shape something is it, is what it is. Now as to value, you are correct the value is realitive to supply and demand. That one is not "excellent" shape, it's in fair shape, (maybe it looks better in person, but photos seem to show it needs work) the value of one in fair shape may be worth what he is asking, it's just not in excellent condition.

As far as the opinions go, it's 6s to me. There are newer options available and i would not be in the market to restore that one for use. I was just trying to respond with some humor and since it effextively bumps folks to look, maybe get it some.more views. I was not trying to offend any sensabilities.

@000doodie000, for the record, that 'Nest condition is maybe fair to poor but 5 or 10 years ago it would have sold for $1k when it was only used 'Nests or a year long waiting for maybe getting delivery of your FlipPac. Now with all the RTTs and Habitats and trailers the demand for old 'Nests has come back to reality.

Speaking of hail damage, anyone know of trailer places doing hail damage sales?

You might look at a used Nissan Leaf. I am looking at them right now because I can charge for free at work. You can pick one up with under 40k miles for under $10k. Perfect if you just want a commuter. Will save me much more money in gas per month than my payment will be.

I'm open to a Prius or Leaf (never thought I'd say that) but used with some miles they are coming way down in price. My buddy has one (A Prius) with 280K and a new battery pack I can get super cheap...I'm contemplating it. Thanks for the feedback guys.

Open to it for sure...I work in Boulder so I bet I can talk my leadership here into adding charging stations, we surprisingly don't have any yet.
    Thanks.

Another commuter to look at is the Chevy Volt. I picked up a mint '12 a few months ago and I love it. Surprisingly fast, very fun to drive. It has a range of ~40 miles on battery alone, then the gas motor kicks in and you can go another 300 miles, so no range anxiety. If you're commute is 40 miles or less, it's a great option. I've put about 2700 miles on it and have only burned 12 gallons of fuel. Probably not gonna find one under $10k tho...

Arb front bumper, warn winch, All Pro rear bumper, OME up front, OME and All Pro Standard in Back, ARB locker, 34 x 10.5 KO2's, 17" Level 8 Trackers, and fancy single piece driveshaft.
    Edit: Flares are spoken for.

Front fenders flares for a 2nd gen in MGM. Fit 05 thru at least '11. I can't remember if the last few years of the second gens had different front flares. The are in good shape and all mounting points are intact. Price - 2 6 packs of Colorado brewed lager or kolsh or amber ale, etc. No wheat beers or belgians.

Rear mud flaps for the same years as the flares. Price, 1 6 pack.

I'm cleaning out the garage a bit. If they're not gone in a week, they're going in the trash.

Don't know when I'll be in Denver, I rarely ever go to Denver.

Sorry not shipping, would probably cost me that much to ship it then I'm giving the stuff away for free.
