Good eye, I didn't see the wheels at first lol. I've definitely worked on sketchier set ups though.

Just renovated my kitchen - countertops, new sink, and tiles/backsplash

    Before...

A cabinet I built from scratch 2 years ago using all hidden pocket screws.

I decided it was time now to match the countertops and get rid of the 60 year old cheap ones, so...

    Tearin' shit up

    And the finished product

Don't know, man. Presume it was built that way in '67. Should I be worried about it?

That’s your only breaker panel right or due you hav done in the house as well?

Here on the east coast in all my years I have yet to see one that way I can only think the could be corrosion, rust and other weather related issues.

Quite common around the greater LA area. I wouldn't sweat it unless you notice a problem. Or maybe I've lived in shitty houses my whole life.

Looks like just a meter to me. Mounted to his stucco facade wall on the side of his house. Looks pretty normal to me.

The only I would do is make sure all the lugs at the breakers are tight wires are not heating up at the ends where they connect to the lugs as that could be a sign of loose connections an over heating or weak breakers. This being exposed to the outdoor elements heat cold damp conditions might cause issues.

If your not having issue I would just do preventive maintenance and call it a day......

Oh ok, didn't realize that was anything underneath there. That does seem odd. Not necessarily wrong, but I just haven't seen it before .

getting ready to do my roof this weekend. Been fighting the weather here with the crazy amounts of rain we've gotten. The weekends calling for 40% chance of scattered thunderstorms, so hopefully I can get it knocked out. Looked at the eaves and there's no drip edge, or starter strips/shingles. Two layers of roofing to tear off. Im anticipating a lot more rot than I originally expected. Fuck.

I have a set, was in a hurry at the time. Getting the lift from work, should make the rest a breeze.

Your luck WILL run out .... many years after a serious accident you will be paying the price with pain , regret that you can’t do things you should be doing , enjoying life ... let’s not forget about depression that comes with the later two.
You will beat yourself to death with “ Why didn’t I spend the $$ and take the time to do the job safely “ ? You may even destroy yourself financially while crippled up.

I’m not being a Debbie downer , nor a safety preacher, just hoping to give you some thought on your future .... if you have one ?
