I got some tint on the front doors to match the rears. I'll probably get the ceramic tint on the windshield. Basically a UV blocker. I think it's technically illegal here in Florida, but this is one time I might do it first and get fined later, if it comes to that. Florida heat is just so nasty and rough on the interior.

 

Built myself a “Taco Shelf”

Basically a level, full width platform anchored to the child carrier mounts behind the seats (only thing that’ll ever be mounted to those)

Easily adjustable to be exactly level, I’m going to add two 1” Stainless “footman loops” to it in the morning (through bolted) to mount my fridge too. Basically this is for my fridge until my Camper gets here to cover the bed. Once the Go Fast Camper arrives I’ll use it for bolting down milk crates and or other gear in the back to keep it from sliding around.

I attached it with wing nuts so I can remove it for under seat access if i need it (it’s a little bit of a pain to get it back on though) so it’s not something you’d want to do daily. I have a Decked System so most everything I have already lives in there.

I may throw a picture of my fridge on it tomorrow.

Added a custom sticker... had the wife make it for me.

 

You could alway try a bed liner type paint. A lot of people use this on sliders and skids. The finish won't be as smooth but it should be more durable. I bet you could apply it and then when it dries knock off the high points with a sanding sponge then hit it with some rattle can spray. Might last forever.

Also, not sure how many coats of plastidip you're using but I put 6 or 7 on mine, then 2 coats of the glossifyer. Mine lasted a winter of commuting on salt covered roads. There are two little pin hole marks I have to strain to see. I pressure wash mine too. It was an all day project though and I won't do it again.

My next one will be powder coated mesh for sure.
