I drive on a lot of hilly back roads with no street lights. The headlights on the Taco don't really cut it. Can't see the deer that I might smash into. Also, when turning, I can't see where I am turning into. Looking for some solution to up my lighting abilities. Also plan to do some mild offroading.

The hidden 32” led light bar and brackets are only about $200 for the whole set up. You can get them from CaliRaised LED or rago fabrication. They work amazingly well.

LED light bar would be the easiest solution I would think? I'm getting a 30" rigid installed, I'll let you know what it's like when I pick it up next month

Itll be installed between the grill and bumper, in the small gap in between. I'd do it myself but am going on a 15 hr road trip to the middle of no where less than 12 hrs after picking it up, so arranged for all of my accessories to be installed for when i take possession.

Funny story, KC Daylighter halogens we’re from aircraft landing lights retrofitted into a housing to mount on a automobile. So if he was running KCs your statement is pretty accurate.

Apologies for the late response. I have no clue which bracket my dealer is using. I showed them a photo of where I want the light bar and am trusting they'll do it properly.

Oh, not that illegal up where I live. They dont meet the definition of auxhilliary lighting on vehicles but they aren't illegal to have on your truck, only if you use them on public roads.

You can find a ton of useful information about going LED in the LED Lighting Conversion thread. If you're just looking for the best and brightest Low Beams, then HIDs are maybe going to be a better solution for you, butLED technology continues to get better and better, and it's still important to do your research to find an option that fits for you.

@RobP62 did a great review of our H11 LED Kit used in the Low and High Beams of his '17 Tacoma, and there are plenty of posts in that thread about great options for upgraded lighting.

Right, and I've never heard of cops giving tickets for light bars - where I live. Which is why I'm having it installed. Laws will be different where you/the OP live.
