Removed my nerf bars in preparation for rock sliders. Looks clean without them and the truck appears to be higher, but I'm hyped to get some actual protection.

Nerf bars are now for-sale locally (greater Seattle area). Asking $100 OBO for TW members

4lb hammer, or maybe rig up a jack between them to spread it back out. Maybe weld some gussets on when done.

That’s what I was thinking, just checking. I guess to save money, they don’t weld every seam fully around so I’ll probably bend back, grind down the corners, re weld any broken welds and gusset the corners that don’t touch the truck frame, then respray with some rustoleum frame coat. Hopefully she lines up afterward and bolts into place.

Just put that thing in a vice (yes I know they are heavy).

I think they might be bent slightly to make sure it fits snug onto the frame.

I'm always impressed with the height of the truck when I take the sliders off to repaint them.

I’ve thought about that as well but the email that I received back from the draw Tite rep was that I should speak with there techs because that doesn’t sound right to him so... I don’t know at this point lol I’ll call tomorrow.
The issue is, I can’t call a warranty claim if it is broken because I’m not the original buyer and don’t have the reciept which sucks.

What is this black magic?! Asking as a tall guy who's mirror blocks my windshield.
Does it basically just move the clip over to the side and up then use double sided 3M to hold it?

I never considered moving the mirror.....
