Just finished buying mine Friday night. Seems like a lot of guys on here got better deals than me but in my area the prices are insane. Too close to Portland Or. means too many hippies buying tacos so they can drive up to mount hood and spend their Saturday cutting an AR in half. Seriously though the prices of toyotas and subarus around here are crazy! List price for my 2018 Trd Offroad DCLB in cement with the premium package was $45,850. Got them talked down to $37,650 including taxes and fees and the extended warranty and convinced them to tint match the front windows to the backs for free. Like I said seems like alot of guys paying less on here but for my area I felt like I got a pretty decent deal.

    $36,811

    Technology Package

    Wut?

Do ya have a ton of accessories? Most OR trucks with premium package have MSRPs around $40k. I'm in Portland, bought mine in a suburb.

I bought something very similar (no mudguards) at about $100 over that. Very hard to find an OR truck w/ Premium around these parts, most dealers had zero in stock and couldn't get any more for 2018

I'd say it isn't bad, I got mine to $36,750 with the 1.9 interest, just last Monday. I got the MGM color though with everything you listed.

    Edit - No mudguards

You took the 1.9% financing over the 1k rebate?
If so, you got a better deal than what I found. Where are you located?

I was joking but the whole ar ban thing and people cutting guns in half saying "one less" seems to be a big topic in our area right now.

No pretty much bare bones. Besides being priemum. Idk I've been watching for awhile and it seems like everywhere was asking 37,500 for base models and 43,000-46,000 for the premiums. Maybe they were just BSing me hoping for me to go for the high price. In the end with the extended warranty it sounds like I got it to just about the right price.

2018 TRD Sport DCLB 4x4 $34,504 after $1,000 rebate, plus 6% PA sales tax, thought it was a decent deal 3 weeks ago. Did most of the haggling via email. Tried to get the $1000 rebate and the 1.9 financing, no deal. Asked the parts department for a free hat and a Yeti/Toyota mug, no deal. Was going to ask the salesman for one of his Toyota shirts, but thought that might be pushing things a little to far. Looks like others here got better deals, others not quite as good.

Finally bit the bullet, sold my 2017 JKU and came back to Toyota.

I've always had either Toyotas, Hondas or Nissans, however, my "dream car" for years was a Jeep Wrangler. Long story short.....got a new JKU in September 2017 only to need a BRAND NEW engine at 11,000 miles because of a manufacture defect....to make matters worse I was 3,000 miles away from home (Alaska) in the middle of Wyoming when the engine all but exploded. It took me over 3 months to get the Jeep back and I finally decided that I needed to cut my losses and go with the practically of a truck and reliability of Toyota (my JKU had other issues as well).

No vehicle is perfect, but I needed to go with something I didn't worry every time I was in the backcountry whether I'd make it home or not. Couldn't be happier with my decision to come HOME to Toyota.

Two days and ~8 hours at the dealership, feel like I got it down to a good price for Alaska standards considering how expensive EVERYTHING is here, the lack of available options and I don't have the luxury of going to another Toyota dealership (only 3 in the entire state):

2018 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off-Road DCSB (Silver Sky)
    • 4x4 Auto (V6)
    • Technology package
    • Tonneau bed cover
    • Sticker: $39,718
    • PRICE PAID: $35,664

Hi everyone. First post here and I'm looking to join the club. :fingerscrossed:

Orange is my favorite color, and had my mind made up on an Inferno TRD Sport. I was going to wait until next year, but it looks like the color is being discontinued. Currently looking for DCSB auto with premium and tech packages. This combination seems very hard to find. One price I've got so far, which includes tonneau cover, wheel locks, mudguards and all weather liner/door sill package is $38,300. Thoughts on how much wiggle room there is? The only other accessories I'd be interested in is the 5" black steps and the bed mat.

Any other advice/suggestions would be appreciated, especially when it concerns finding dealers in the central NJ area that care about making a sale (or even returning phone calls).

Once you buy Jeep, you're in deep.

You might want to widen your net so to speak. If you're willing to travel 60-70 miles or more you might be able to get the car you want. In the end you have to live with it. So I'd make sure to get the one you want if you can.

    Thanks for the quick reply!

I've done that already. In fact, I've checked 85 (and counting) dealer's websites looking for inventory, covering a distance of about 2.5 hours. Too bad I wasn't looking for black or mgm, I'd have been done a week ago with a better price I'm sure

2018 TRD Sport with Premium and Tech packages. Accessories - tonneau cover, all weather mats/sill protectors, 5" black steps, wheel locks, bed mat. MSRP 42,211, current offer 38,635 (not including tax, title, etc). I would probably finance through credit union and take the rebate which would have it at 37,635. I'm happy with the accessories added as it's pretty much what I'm looking for (not looking to mod or sink a ton of money into it...yet, anyway). I know there is still wiggle room but I'm having trouble getting anyone else near this price. I'm in NJ and looking for blue or inferno. Most trucks with both packages are mgm, black, silver or white. With summer coming to a close, I'm not expecting inventory of these colors to pick up.

2018 double cab offroad 2wd with the Premium and Tech package. I shopped this deal for two weeks all over NC/SC. Fred Anderson Toyota in Raleigh has the best prices I could find. My friend at work even bought his son a new SR5 after getting close to $6k off the sticker from Fred Anderson Toyota.
