Need to do an update on my GFC, been too busy to get full use out of it. But love my Bedrug. Feels great on the knees and the feet too when you hop out of bed. I was number 3 install and I think the guys started recommending after seeing mine.

I have the BedRug Classic. It lines the whole bed + tailgate. It spans the gap between the tailgate and bed to help with dust. Having that gap filled also makes the 'gate a better table. It's easy on the knees, soud insulates, protects the bed and according to the manufacturer, can be power washed. The Bedrug doesn't clean as easily as a bare bed or a coated one. I like mine ... a lot. If I have a very messy load, I'll use a tarp.

@I_eat_tacos grab the bed rail covers if you haven't already. Also, waiting on a solution for the brake light since our wiring is significantly different. It's rad!

I ordered mine yesterday morning. Order number 260. 2013 Black Access cab. Trying to decide between White or Gray. I don't think I want all Black. Also still trying to decide on options like front window only or both windows. I have been reading the fan may not be an option anymore. I plan on taking my two dogs with me and my trials bike on many excursions. I'm hoping to get the trials bike in there with the forks compressed and if needed i will loosen the bars an rotate them down to reduce the height more. I should be able to get the bike height down to around 38-39" compressed. any measurement out there from the floor of the bed to the bottom of the back tube right below the tent and inside to the bottom of the sleeping floor? I do plan on occasion leaving the dogs in the back of the truck when I'm out on the Trials bike exploring for around 1 - 2 hour periods so i think some kind of ventilation might be necessary. And ideas if the fan is not available?

I don't have one yet other than it's about a 7 month wait at this point. I will have to wait until I get the email or call with the build date. I'm hoping for the first week in March but time will tell.

It does fill the ribs. Mine is about two years old and it seems like the foam has compressed slightly. You can feel the ribs if you rub your hand across the carpet, but they’re obviously a lot less pronounced.

    It's DLX son!
I have had a bedrug "Impact Mat" for about 6 months now in my open bed and it's been great. It covers the tailgate too, and provides padding for the knees but the top surface is more rubbery like a bed mat and keeps stuff from flying around back there on the slippery bed.

Nice thing is that it's all non-absorbent material, so I can hose it off while washing the truck or leave it exposed to rain without any concerns of it getting funky or staying wet for very long. It's proving to be quite durable so far.

I finalized my order yesterday and they kindly answered all my questions. I asked about color matching and was quoted $500 to do panels and $1200 to do frame and panels.

Thanks again for the visual aids, decided to go with the black. Asked if it was possible to change up the color of the graphics, thought graphics in bronze would look sweet on the black panels and tie in with the wheels. Maybe GFC would look into doing that, couldn't be that much of an added cost.

I couldn't find an answer on GFC's website nor anywhere on TW, but can the three side panels (or at least the rear one) be locked and opened from the inside - not just the outside?

I think the concept that Go Fast Campers has is friggin' awesome, but I'd feel a lot safer out in the wilderness (between humans and animals) if all three panels could be shut, secured/locked, and opened from inside the box as well as the outside.

Thank you for the clarification on that, inv3ctiv3. That's kind of what I figured, but just wanted to be sure. It's a little bit of a drawback in my opinion, but there is sort of an alternative way around it as you pointed out.

I added mine, and removed the head scalping "adjuster bolts". A little tighter than before yes, but not that bad. It gets a bit easier after a few days.
