    Some really cool shit
Massive smoke in Martinez, and around Mt Diablo, today. Over the Bay, as well. So much so in the Martinez you could actually smell the fire. So bummed.
This is from my house in Oakland. Crappy iPhone pic, but you can see the smoke in the sunset.

Yup. Going from mtz to pittsburg you can smell the fire. Thought another one had started in the area. That's how bad it was.

Now imagine being 20 miles from the fires. It sucks up here.

@jberry813 other than not reversing with front ARB engaged, any other tips or do's/dont's?

Having difficulty finding a dummies guide to air lockers for first time users..

Is there a range of speeds that I should/shouldn't engage or disengage at?

Top speeds for either front or rear?

Not enough to have a build thread.
That's odd. Wonder why you shouldn't back up with the front engaged....

Reverse is a lower gear, that will apply more torque to a locked diff. Try it. Turn to full lock on your steering wheel, in four wheel drive, with the front end locked and “feel” how much stress and strain comes through the steering wheel.

No joke... I went from 1000sqft to almost 2000 sqft house and my bill went up almost 50%.

Although my last house everything was gas and this new one it's all electric. Stove, water heater, oven etc.

Only heat is propane, so at least I won't be paying for that until winter.

    ...too much shit to list.
Na doesn't really matter. BITD trucks slam those lockers on at 100 mph.

Second gen problems again. First gens the rack is on the backside of the suspension so the tie rods don't fold in reverse like newer tacomas.

Im hoping it will change since this bill was without blinds, AC running constantly, compressors and lights in the middle of summer.

I added a Nest thermostat and had it automate with my alarm so it knows when were home/away by the arming and disarming of the alarm. Its showing its ran maybe 4 hours a day since installing which is much better than before.

Love the Nest, that thing is awesome!

EDIT: Also not sure if it's still going on but PG&E had a $50 rebate if you bought one. Used it for our bill.
