    Lol.
No ball sweat. Maybe not even at 103 with humidity that low.

Layers are key. It will be chilly in the morning in the desert. Probably go up 20 degrees by lunch.

May be in for Round 2 of Moab for this one. I'm sure the 2 or 3 days I get to spend there and Canyonlands isn't going to be enough for my liking the first go around.

This will probably be on individuals because we all have different sizes.

Do we need bear-proof coolers, food storage, & trash containers?
I think some parks in Colorado require it.

The plan isn't to stay in any national parks, so there won't be explicit requirements for it. I don't know what the bear population is like in SW Colorado but I'd bring bear-resistant containers for those nights.

Or just move food and trash into vehicle.

Headed to glacier in a few weeks. I'm leaning towards getting some bear spray, gf thinks it's silly. From what I've read, there have been a lot of bear contact this year. Any thoughts? To bear spray or not? The plan is remote hikes to a bunch of places.

The only place I'd be comfortable in Glacier without bear protection is the maintained, populated paths. Also bear in mind that for a while, tent camping was banned due to Grizzly activity out there. I'd ignore your GF and get some spray.

If you can aim it in a high stress, hit-or-get-eaten situation ;)

I'd rather have bear spray & not need it. Small investment to be on the safe side.

He's just got to make sure to leave behind gas for the skottle so the bear can at least cook a nice meal

Tell her I'm charging one day of vacation for each thing I've helped move/build/mount at your house and we're already halfway there

She'd out pace me for sure. She thru hiked the Appalachian trail, I don't stand a chance.
