I bought from koons Tyson's simply for the fact they had several MT on the lot. Price was pretty decent.

Hopefully for your sake they don't. I get it though and it makes sense but sucks nonetheless. And that 15 corridor is growing so much... I first ventured into Northern Va for work in 2014 tdy and the 15 and 7 corridors have grown tremendously since then.

Every summer we'd go to Asheville, Cashiers, Maggie Valley, Boone or Gatlinburg to get a reprieve from the heat.

I don’t find this to be true. I pay cash for all my vehicles and it has little effect and sometimes a negative effect upon the deal. I have had to wait while every 100 bill is checked , checks are not welcome when buying out of state, the irs sends you a list of every serial number on all bills fifty or higher. And dealerships are usually incentivized to sell loans and will sometimes offer a lower price if using their preferred lender.

It's a work in progress. See my build thread.
They will however (at least some will) do an EBT from your bank account.

I used to have an apartment in maggie. IIalso lived in the mountains by the blue ridge parkway. Maggie Valley has really fallen over the years. The wheels through time museum is excellent if you like motorcycles though.
I am in Denver a couple days for work. Its urrently 70 and a great breeze. Just got back from a nice long walk outside.

You are correct and I agree.. It can go both ways. Generally cash speaks volumes at smaller dealerships. Large dealerships you are right, they want you to finance through them and make a few more bucks that way.

Lustine didn't really care about cash. it was normal. I think my luck was mostly due to the salesman being new, and a nice guy for the most part. Also me haing a print out with the master cost sheet from tw helped.

Miller was different. I went in knowing the one vehicle I wanted. During the test drive I told the salesman (also a very nice dude) that I wanted this truck, I was going to give him 10k and give him a check for the remainder. They wanted 39.5 (way to high) came down 5.5k, and paid the ttt otd near 36k. I could've done better, but it was the only truck within 3 hours that met my wants.

Walked out the door 30 minutes after the test drive with my truck.
