No damage at all which was crazy the roots just gave way. Good thing it fell that way and not the other way.

Don't powder coat unless its a street queen. If you actually use them you'll be touching it up with spray cans anyway. I used vht roll cage and chassis spray, no need to primer.

I’d like to spray the top to a non-skid surface, any suggestions for a product that won’t fade?

 

I keep meaning to go by West Marine and see what they have for roll on non slip surfaces for marine applications. I figure that stuff has to be durable and UV proof and would be perfect on top of a slider. One day I'll get down there, just don't wanna deal with Nimitz traffic

I ended up using a rubber stick on traction pad, and others have used the sand-paper style with great results.

 

True, but some guys have all the offroad accessories and don't go wheeling.

 

Bedliner all the way. So easy to touch up dings and you'll never see the blemish. Plus if you step on the it's grippy.

 

I’ve been using this rattle can bedliner for years. It holds up good against UV from the sun.
