    Afternoon Everyone !!! :hattip:

    The smoke from the Holy Fire has finally made it up here into the High Desert . The sky is so thick of smoke it has filtered out the sun light , now has a muted orange appearance

    I had cortisone shots in my right wrist after doing some damage at work. That was over 20 years ago and it's been fine ever since. Hope you get the same result.

    Yeah, but it just gets you in the door before the 300 people who didn’t make one. Then everyone gets a number and you wait. Thankfully now I have my window number and can just wait until they call me. Unfortunately, this year to renew my license they said I had to come in. Also, I’m getting the Real ID so you have to go in.
    I’m on the downhill stretch I think and I’ve got the photo @Taco-Grinder posted earlier so I’m good. I think. :confused:

    Thanks George, hope so too. I get them in my left ankle ~3X a year for the last 4 years or so and they help a lot there. The shots in the knees actually hurt a lot less hope it is a one time good deal. Both my wrists started hurting like hell a couple of months ago and was wondering if the shots would work there too, sounds like it. Once and out would be nice. Being a guy I'll wait another year before I ask hoping it will get better by itself. Better living through chemistry. Never knew that when you got older they start to give you the hard drugs like cortisone LOL.

    A heck of a lot of people have told me getting their knees replaced was the best thing they did. I'm in no hurry to do it and have to go through the shots first according to the doctor. Hoping that I can hold off until I am old before I get my knees replaced. Shit guess that should read older, not old.

    YUP! I put it off for years, like so long doc asked why the hell did you wait so long. He put a new a ACL in and worked on meniscus thing. said another couple years he would have done a replacement and not offered a repair but my hamstrings were strong.thats where the new ACL came from.good luck with yours

    We have a 3rd Party place 2 minutes from the house. It costs a little more but it makes life so much easier. Yesterday took 10 minutes to get the Tacoma done. No line, walked to the counter and we were done in 10 minutes.

    Haven't been inside a DMV in maybe 28 yrs !! , I've done all my DMV transactions thru the auto club . All my Drivers license renewals were by mail or online

    That's what I like about having Auto Club , they've got more field offices than the DMV and I can be done with a DMV transaction in less than 15 min

    Generally, the Palmer office DMV is reasonable. Anchorage office ... well, it's another reason to hate Anchorage. :cookiemonster:

    @Taco Buggy

    The Barstow Ca DMV has a 40 min wait time currently , you went to the wrong DMV Office !!
