No not yet, I'm just hoping it comes out good this time. I rubbed everything with alcohol and am doing light coats. Usually I rush into it.

Is it chrome you're painting over? If so hit it with 120 grit then more alcohol. Then break for 3 beers to calm the nerves then well get after it.

Yeah, I sanded it last week and didn't do anything cause of the weather.

Spent some time in the garden and smelled the flowers ;). Beer isn't until later.

Ok then you are good to go. And remember....if you fuck it up it's no big deal. Just some wet sanding and more paint. And if it really bothers you then some good ole fashioned AZ pinstripping will do the trick

All you need to know is you will sell your Tacoma if you buy one.... haha but pre 05 had some head gaskets issues on the V6 high mileage engines same as the Tacoma it is hit and miss though, they also had dash cracking issues that was a recall and toyota has a campaign to fix that. Those are really the only big issues. for 4k I wouldn't hesitate to buy that.

Not perfect but it'll have to do until I can afford front tube bumper.

That place next to Sdhq did me good. Oasis auto. They do everything for Sdhq I think so they were very familiar with my setup. Been 6 months or so now and no complaints.

@Man of Steel TRD When I had my 93 the head gasket issue was solved by putting Doug Thorley headers on it because it rerouted the one manifold that went over the top of the transmission. In my opinion I wasn’t a big fan of that V6 it had the power of a four-cylinder and got the gas mileage of a V-8! That is if you’re referring to the 3.0L but the Doug Thorley headers and full exhaust with no cats made it sound mean!

That’s a 2nd gen ‘90-‘95 and those are the biggest pieces of shit

Edit: to elaborate on this the V6 3.0 is what is the pos along with the torsion front end but that was only from 1988-1995

I used the new Greulichs next to the shop a few weeks ago as well as Brandon brought a customers rig there post lift and they knocked it out!

Guy gave me a discount and it was under 70$ total

Edit: let me also clarify that I gave the tech the alignment instructions from TC as well.

The more you guys post about smoking meats, the more I want a smoker. Trying to hold off until near Thanksgiving to try and get a deal. Plus, mod monies have taken a chunk of disposal income too.

Anyone have any favorite hikes near the Payson area?? Really want/need to get out of the valley on Friday. The less people around the better.
