One of the best upgrades we did when we had a new a/c unit put in at ours was having an internet connected thermostat. Now when we get there the thing is comfortable.

My parents’ house is like that now they upgraded. It is pretty nice!

A new thermostat was just put in the beach house in March. It is an 18yr old unit so will more than likely be getting a new unit no matter. I had it going for about 30 minutes earlier before it fried completely.

I might be able to get a 10% discount through work with a new unit. Waiting to have the old one checked first. We keep it on either 50 or 80 when we’re not there, been a couple weeks since my dad was down so I am sure something is burnt up..

That's pretty much how we roll too. Our unit was new circa hurricane fran and just took a dump a couple yrs ago. We had no issues until then. The HVAC guys were surprised as most of the time waterfront property like ours they replace units every 3-5 yrs.

Both my units at my house are 18yrs old. I can't wait for them both to randomly shit the bed at the same time, and need to be replaced with money I don't have. :bananadead:

Fun times yesterday - hella storm rolled through my area and knocked down trees and power lines everywhere...power was out from 5pm until 9am this morning.

If anyone wants free firewood, I have about 30 trees down in my woods that need to be cleaned up. Bring yer chainsaw and truck, can haul away as much as you want

Anyone have a large hydraulic press that could potentially straighten out a skidplate? :anonymous:

Just add more dents it adds character and will match the current one. That's what they're there for. Side note I'll be at @FadedComa place sun we are installing min and his bumper. If you can swing buy with the bussman mount or we can figure out meeting up.

I don't care about the dents except for where it's contacting my front diff.

PM me where Faded lives and I'll see if I can swing by!

Luckily it was all in the woods. Sold all my chainsaws when I moved or I'd lend ya one or 2.
We had a tree uproot at the apt complex right outside my building. Luckily it was one of the smaller ones and went across the creek away from my building. There is a dead one that would really mess some stuff up if it were to come down glad it didn't but I'm going to start hounding the complex to get it taken down before something happens.

Set the skid on a HARD flat surface and take a sledge to the area it's hitting the diff. What did you hit that caused that big of a dent.

AOP :bananadance: And it's more of an overall bend to the entire skid than a dent.

It's got a little arch to 'er. I'll bring a sledge to Brian's if you need one. Man up and swing!

I've fixed many a steel wheel like that. I like wearing plugs when I do, that ringing hurts.
