Asking for help with my intermittent electrical issue(s) here. Dealer has not found answer. Last week, my keyfob door opener stopped working once in awhile. Opened the drivers' door manually. Yesterday, my tire pressure dash display failed. Warning light for pressure on dash then. Problem goes away for an hour or so. Then, my center display shuts off and restarts while parked. Any thoughts ?? Thank you in advance

Any mods? Also do you have a thumb drive in the usb port? Some 2.0 thumb drives slow the cache of the stereo and ends up restarting.

Toyotas are not generally known for electrical issues. I would give the dealer a chance to make right. Probably a connector wasn't plugged in all the way at the factory.

Or you have a mouse problem...

No mods at all. Everything still factory. Nothing in USB port. 4th Toyota I have owned, 2nd Tacoma. Never had any electrical issues with any previous Toyota. Dealer I bought it from says they found nothing unusual. Also had a message on the front dash display that read " check charging system " Message went away within an hour. Truck starts fine. No rodents in truck .

They wouldnt be in the truck, be sure to check all wire harnesses inside and out, underneath and in front.

I had a similar issue in my 11 Highlander where, intermittently, the keyfob stopped working (actually locked me out) and I had power issues in the cabin. Turned out that the main 140A fuse connection to cable coming out of the fuse box was slightly loose. The bad connection had melted part of the fuse box. That has to be a very tight connection. Just a thought - might want to give the electrical system a look over for anything odd. Also check major ground connections and make sure they are tight.

+1. Start with the grounding locations (driver side inner fender, driver side frame behind rear wheel, and possibly other spots), then look over the fuse boxes. The main fuse that is mentioned above cannot be accessed from the top - the entire fuse box needs to be removed to get to it; it's a pain in the butt job, and there's a pretty good chance the dealership guys didn't do it.

Thanks for all the input. !!! Funny how when Truck is cold, Key Fob Works great. When Truck is warmed up, like driving to work, FOB doesn't work at all. Tire Pressure Display still not showing anything on drivers center screen :(
