Normally I’m super safe and wear both glasses and a face shield. Joe used his body to take advantage of me against my better judgement.

Had a close call today fellas...Luckily, the electrical performed as it should and shut things down short of a fire...



Wife went home for lunch about 1300 hrs and called me...said the house stunk like burning plastic. After some suggestions of things to check, she found one if my salt water aquariums (another hobby of mine) was off and no equipment was running. Turns out one of my filtration systems became clogged and began splashing water...right on to the outlet strip you see pictured above, which in turn caused it to arc wildly and generate quite a bit of heat (one of the plugs was welded into the outlet strip). The breaker tripped before things got out of control, which prevented the fire and some water damage if the filter had continued to overflow!

Got pretty lucky today!

I wanted to when I found out they didnt send me any hardware... same thing happened when I got my prinsu...

Thankfully they are sending everything ASAP. And they do provide the extra bumper supports for free, which made me pretty happy.

 

Damn! Count those blessings!!!!! How are the fish?

 

Fish are no worse for the wear. Not sure they noticed much other than maybe their ocean was a little calmer than usual for a bit.

 

Great. I mean yea, the house not burning down is absolutely fantastic but not loosing any fish in the ordeal is also nice.

I know they are not cheap.
