Alright, I'm going to call them tomorrow afternoon and set a date for August 25th.

    Count yourselves in :mudding:

    Bad news.

I called the 4wd Farm Friday afternoon and spoke with Scott, presumably the owner. Scott informed me that due to an issue with a beaver dam, about half of his land is flooded and he hasn’t been able to access it. Scott informed me that he likely wouldn’t be opening the trails back up this year.

With that being said, we have a couple options:

    1. http://mettoweeoffroad.com/

I’ve known of this place for a while but have never been. I’ve heard it can get a little muddy but has a plethora of off road obstacle, hills, rocks, etc. This place looks to be in the Adirondacks.

    2. Tug Hill.

I know the hill a bit and can get us on some truck trails but I don’t have an extensive knowledge. Most of the hill is pretty tame but if it gets wet then it will be a ton of fun. For those who (for some crazy reason) don’t know, Tug Hill is more or less in the Watertown area.

    Thoughts? Any other options?

If someone can be trail guide, I’d be more than down for Tug Hill.

I think that 4wd farm used to be the field of dreams 4wd park. I'm still in for some fun as long as it's not too far away.

Tug Hill sounds fun and definitely doable plus its $85 bucks cheaper. Unfortunately that other off road park is too far away. I'm still in for Tug hill though. I got a little portable grill we could do dogs and burgers on too .:smokertransformer:

google turin ny, if your coming from buffalo we can end on the west side of the hill. I like to start on the east side that way anyone coming far away is close the rte 81 and can hit the thruway pretty easy

We can probably all rendezvous at the Walmart in Lowville. I’ll be staying in Utica the night before.

I’d have to be out if it’s Tug Hill. It’s a 3 1/2 hour drive for me and I wouldn’t be staying the night. It wouldn’t make sense to drive that much unless it was a weekend thing.

I am in for a "stock" friendly meet up on the Tug Hill. End of August should work for me just fine.

Literally, the only mod I have is 33s. It’s going to be interesting for sure. I’m excited to see what it can do.

Haha I hear ya man. I am getting a set of 265/75 (32") Duratracs installed on my stock OR rims this Friday so that should definitely help.

I am apprehensive off-roading my '18 with only 1400 miles. Gotta break it in at some point though. I should have joined this forum back when I had my 1st gen, never even thought about meeting up with locals. Never really beat on that like I should have.

    Definitely happening.

I'm sure there are actual public camping spots up there, but I have a small piece of land on Salmon River Road (the main road through Tug Hill more or less). I've been throwing around the idea of camping up there that weekend. If at least a couple guys are interested, I'd be willing to camp up there so you guys could too.

If it’s stock friendly I’m game.

Haven’t got to do anything to my new to me 03 yet and it’s got relatively worn ATs... don’t want to slow the group down.

In a few months I’ll be game for whatever when the lift, sliders, and tires are on.
