I know this is probably a silly thread, but the darm thing won't loosten. How do I loosten the power steering belt? I loostened the bolt at the bottom to allow the pump to slide. I loostened the screw on the back, that tightens the pump down. I just wanted to know if I was missing something.

Did you loosen the big bolt that it pivots on?

Yes, and maybe not. This is the bolt on top right? If so, then no. I thought about it, but gave up. I guess my 2 year old throwing water on me from her pool may have had something to do with it. Gonna give it a whirl tomorrow.

From what I remember, yes, its the one on top. It just has to be loose.

    Thanks
