For fucks sake rent one man, they're like $20 unlimited mileage from U-Haul.

FWIW, Harbor Freight sells foldable trailers.

What's your dad's truck? You have to put a light Tacoma like a 5-lug.

I've done a mod or two
If you're using the car hauler it will probably just say no because his truck is too small, but try saying your towing a yaris or something, doesn't matter since it is just a frame

It's really just for insurance purposes. Hell say you're towing a Yugo, haha.

I put down a 1998 Toyota Tacoma RWD Base when I rented the car hauler. Luckily the 2000-ish Chevy Tahoe we were using to tow it had a high payload capacity. Paid $70 dollars - $20 for the base rental price unlimited mileage, and $50 for the most expensive insurance coverage in case my friend rolled the truck or something.

Just get the quote and reserve it saying your truck is a 6 lug 4x4, the guy working won't know the difference and uhaul will let you pull any of their trailers with a six lug. I just rented a 6x12 enclosed from them like a month ago

Honestly I think you should just buy a rear differential and front drivetrain from him and get some cheap rollers off Craigslist, and tow it with a dolly. You're going to need it for your conversion anyway.

Yup, I've rented more uhauls than I care to mention so I'm used to the hassles. I had one of their 15' trucks over capacity in it's box, then hitched the taco on an auto transport to it, that 4.8L V8 could barely go up hills all the way to AZ haha

You're going to build a 2nd truck from a frame and a destroyed cab?

Aww you got the v8 U-Haul? I rented one once with a v10. Was one of the smaller trucks too.

    How did that thing handle?
