Like ass, brakes got spongey quick haha, I told my buddy "it ain't mine so you can hold the pedal to the floor up hills just be careful going down em. I roped a friend into driving it for me though so I could drive the cruiser with my trailer...

I don't think I have ever seen a trailer with rims before. Wow.

 

They're pretty common on enclosed trailers and boat trailers

 

Did you buy it like that?

Out of curiosity, why do you need a trailer?

It's my dad's but he doesn't ever use it anymore, so I store it in AZ and make use of it when I need a trailer. Yeah it came with the wheels and tires and it was freshly reskinned. It is a factory low deck ramp trailer, so you can load custom motorcycles easily, but if you take out the wheel chocks you can put anything you want in there. Has electric brakes, reverse lights, lots of markers, interior lights... good trailer man.

 

I want a trailer now and I don’t even need one. Haha.

 

Don’t buy that piece of shit please. Oh man. Buy a newer one with trailer brakes and no rust. Haha.

Wouldn’t that require me to install a different harness on my truck?

 

I guess I'm going to have to hold on to my first gen until I move back to California. There's literally like no market for these trucks in my state unless you give it away for $1500, throw in a Luke Byran CD and a case of Bud Light.

 

You need trailer brakes. Trust me.

If you don’t want to install a brake controller (you do) then buy a trailer with surge brakes.

 

Then install them. Its some of the simplest wiring you will ever do to have trailer brakes.

 

Surge brakes are a pain in the ass. No in cabin adjustment. Electric for the win.
