    Quick question:
Do Tundras have the same/similar "vacuum leaking sound" when turning OFF the engine??? :notsure: I'm asking for a co-worker, just in case any of you know? It is always near the driver front engine compartment and I remember reading somewhere on TW that that was actually normal for a Tacoma. I was wondering if the same goes for the Tundra. It's an older model for sure.

Thanks if anyone can help/reply.:fistbump:

Yeah, I don't know the year, but I will find out. I just know it is older for sure... definitely NOT "new"!!!

You mean the smog pump blow off sound when you shut it off? I know the 4 banger Tacoma, 12+ V6 Tacomas and Tundras have them. Not sure which year the Tundras started using them though.

I haven't heard it myself, but he describes it as like a slow leak, but then it seems to quickly go away not too long after?

I'll find out the year tomorrow.

Yeah, I was telling him that as well. He had mentioned it towards the end of last year and I had just asked him if he ever found out what it was??? An older guy, but really nice. The brother of the owner's wife. So, trying to be cool with him. HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

No, he's a cool guy though and tries to help me out whenever he can!!!
