    doubt it.

It was designed for 2nd gens. Was retro fitted to work on 1st gens. Looks terrible because of that. Need to be rounder and more curves to fit the 1st gen roof line better. Was just lazy to get it out there though.

    Too bad.

only really option is finding an older 2nd gen or 3rd gen t4r roof rack and cutting it to fit. I had 3 laying around for a while. Tossed them though as I decided not to do that.

I have one of the "OE/ dealer" installed roof racks, but it's showing it's 14yo age and 75# weight capacity.

I believe I've seen a member make the factory rack from a Nissan Xterra fit as well so that could be an option

I like. What brand are those? They'd look great on my 5-Lug.

Is the front differential ADD actuator motor vacuum actuated on the entire generation like the 3rd Gen T4R? Or was it electronically actuated for the whole generation?

Great, thank you. Did all the pushbutton 4WD t-cases have an electronic actuator on them after 2001? Or was this an option on earlier trucks with the optional ADD system and J-Shift?

Just trying to make sense of it all.

Your dbl cab? I'll have to look at your build when I'm not on data (because of pictures), which is all I have atm.
I just need the roof rack for my (45#?) chainsaw & 30# dry bag. But I was looking at CS scabbards. The scabbard method wouldn't ruin my 2m reception by having a chainsaw on the roof. Just couldnt seem to find a discrete way to mount the scabbard & chainsaw...

I understand that you could have the J-Shift and ADD, did the ADD equipped vehicles with the J-Shift have an actuator on the back of the transfer case?

All pushbutton TC's came with the all electric front & rear actuators. Front vacuum actuators were 95.5-96 and some 97's. Some 97's were electric ADD and vacuum, 98-04 were all electronic. According to the parts catalogs that is,

Why would they, you actuate them with your hand. It just has some switches to tell the 4wd ECU what's going on
