Still researching on this but apparently there may be an update for MT guys through Toyota as well. (Good news).

If so, plan will be to incorporate that into new release for MT.

    Current development schedule
    - 1.04 release for 04A61 2018 AT

    1.05 release for 2016-2017 ECUS:
    04B02, 04B03, 04B04
    2018 ECUS:
    04A60, 04A61

    MT ECUs 2016-2017
    04B10, 04B11, 04B12,
    2018
    04A70

All / ANY version of those listed above will have all Toyota updates inside it. So effectively everyone will be on the exact same ECU version, which just different IDs.
what I mean is take 04B02.. it will be 100% identical to 04B04 with exception of the ID.

I have a 2016. Haven't verified my version yet, but if I still have a 04B00 or 04B01 will I need to get one of the updates from Toyota before I can apply your tune 1.05?

Correct. 04B00 and 04B01 are not supported by OVTune

I have the tune i just dont like the new shift points of 04B04 with the OVtune 1.04R. I prefer the 1.04 shift points besides the upshift 5th gear going 35 mph.

Mac guy here. VMs are the only place for windows as far as I’m concerned. I bootcamped for the tuning software

Also windows 10 is a steaming pile of garbage.

I’ve yet to see any java application doesn’t explode when a new release comes out

Don't know what to tell ya, guess everyone has their own experiences. :) Just like everyone has their own experiences and opinions regarding the Tacoma engines.

For those of you running 91 octane tunes, what do you do when you have to fill up at some backwoods tiny gas station with only 87? Carry some octane boost?
