    To give perspective on this quality work for the price. I just got a quote for only welding my cat, resinator, and flex pipe to my urd muffler kit. Just welding......750.00 cash! No shop will touch it! Might get lucky if a local tw guy can make time.:bananadead:

    Nope. Side job for a guy claiming to weld. Every shop refuses to do it for legality reasons.

    There are. If I bring it in on a trailer with no plates they will do it. What a hassle.

    @jojotoo y-pipe build in progress. To give you all an idea of attention to detail here are a couple pics.

    The o2 bungs get a coating of solar flux. Any that gets on the side gets q tipped off because a weld will not penetrate the flux. It is used in lieu of back purging ro prevent weld contamination on stainless steel. Every weld joint is given this treatment.

    I put plugs in the o2 bungs during the welding process to prevent the possibility of warpage.

    Here is another pic of the solar flux used at the joint. Notice the de-burred edge that's sanded perfectly flat. It's a time consuming process but I dont cut any corners. I am not a professional but I do the best of my capability with each build.

    @Roostfactor, how do you calculate distance on the bends in these pipes? For example, on a 90* would the distance be half of the shortest and longest length of the bend?

    Yes that would work. It's called the centerline radius (CLR). If you buy the elbows the description should provide the CLR. I did measure them myself though for redundancy.

    It will sound way better, it may help with drone, it will eliminate rasp, it wont turn off a cel.
