ha ha ha...just thought it would be nice to not have to scramble for firewood once we're all there. and a shelter would be handy to cook etc in case of rain. cant spend the whole weekend in our trucks... damn smartasses!

looks like the weather forecast for Friday is not so great but the rest of the weekend seems to be clearing up! Anybody find any trails to check out? Been looking around on my maps and there are a few areas that could be promising...

Nope, had you on my list already. I think TacoIII is the only undecided one left...even though he volunteered to be our rescue vehicle a couple of pages back...

Well since people are bringing chainsaws and such, I won't bother bringing mine. We can cut some firewood. There will be times where we probably won't have anything better to do anyway! Haha.

I'm kinda bummed though. I have some Hella 500s that I all up and converted to HID. Was gonna mount 4 of em behind my grille... I became concerned with overheating and have since scratched the idea. I ordered a light bar and it looks like it won't be here until Monday... Kinda sad that I won't be able to show off my new lights... Oh well, next time. I'm getting pretty stoked about this whole shindig now.

Also, on a more on topic note, I may only get to stay Friday night now. I have a nice new job starting up on Monday morning (5AM) and it sounds like I may have to go fill out some paperwork Sunday morning. We shall see...

everyone seems to be asking me the same questions so I'll just post and not PM...

    Big Larch Campground -
Our site (group B) can hold 9 vehicles and roughly 4 tents (hoping thats a low estimate). maybe everyone can post what size of space they will need so the early arrivals can set up accordingly.
water is available but is not recommended for drinking/cooking. Plan on packing your own.
Bear restrictions. All food must be kept in the vehicles and not left out.
Toilets, yes. No need to find a tree.
Electricity, no. Sorry, boys going to have to leave your hair dryers and curling irons at home.
more info here is you want to know more http://fs.usda.gov/wps/portal/fsinternet/!ut/p/c4/04_SB8K8xLLM9MSSzPy8xBz9CP0os3gDfxMDT8MwRydLA1cj72BTJw8jAwjQL8h2VAQAzHJMsQ!!/?ss=110116&navtype=BROWSEBYSUBJECT&cid=FSE_003705&navid=110130000000000&pnavid=110000000000000&position=BROWSEBYSUBJECT&recid=10318&actid=33&ttype=recarea&pname=Lolo%20National%20Forest%20-%20Big%20Larch%20Campground

If everyone who is committed at the moment shows up it will be roughly $5.60/night/person.

Now I'm off to work an 18 hour day for the elections...don't bother me...

ok i was thinking about sleeping in my short bed but i have 3 tents that tunnel together if anyone needs. the large one is probably an 8' x 8' and the 2 others are probably 6' x 5'. i've never measured so these are rough.
