    @Martin64

    You were right about Quartzsite , that area and North as far as Needles Ca is getting hammered right now by very strong band of T storms . I'm getting Severe T storm alerts until 0045hrs with 3/4" hail near Vidal Junction near Hwy 62 and Hwy 95

    I just looked at it. There are 4 warnings and part of it is headed in your direction if not already. There's a few mountains and ridges in the way so who knows if the full effect will get that far, but it's moving that way. From what I seen I'll be headed north in the morning to recon it.

    Looking at that band, you may not get much. Looks like it'll skirt by or run along your east edge. We may get a little of it as well as across Imperial County to the foot of the moutains between there and San Diego. So the dunes are gonna get a little soggy for a bit.

    It's going to be a very active night with T storms and yes if that band gets into the Coachella Valley Mt San Jacinto will redirect it towards my area

    The storms I get hit with yesterday came from Vegas and Kingman and Prescott Ariz . I got a feeling it's going to be bad T storms in my area by 1100 to 1300hrs

    @Martin64

    Just as I predicted a strong band of storms from Kingman Az is now nearing MAGCC 29 Palms and headed my direction . should be in my area by 0300hrs

    Looks like Blythe is getting hit hard right now , that band of storms is headed towards the Mtn range as you predicted !!

    Happy Friday friends! Semi quiet weekend coming. Wifey is going away with her friend again. It'll be me, daughter, and the dog until late Tuesday. Hmmm, I should make a run over to Pittsburgh and buy the Scamp 5er that I've been eyeing while Ms. No We Can't is away...

    Cutting out @ 12 bells today. Gotta get ahead of the storms coming and mow again. Dad wants to head over to the cabin tomorrow but might not happen. There again we always could just sit on the back porch of cabin , drink coffee, watch the rain, and shoot the breeze! [IMG]
