Yeah. I don’t understand why anyone would install one of these. I would always be on edge. Even on light trails.

Not a damn thing again to smokey. Leaving for Idaho Saturday morning for a couple of days to pick last of Grandkids clothing and other stuff before school starts next week. We are now raising 3 teenage grandkids after 15 years of retirement. Thats OK gland we have the health to do it.

Ditto, Although I do limited off road (just desert roads) and I don't have a Fumoto installed (yet, not sure I will, have one on the shelf, been setting there for a couple of years, However I am prepared for the unexpected, which in the desert is expected, The factory skid is just not that awe inspiring.

Nice.. If you have skids though without the fumoto valve, you're gonna have a hella time draining the oil. Once you pull the oil pan bolt, oil will come out with a vengeance and spray/coat your skid with oil. Now, of course you can remove the skid for an oil change, but that's a big pain in the ass when it only takes a second to connect a plastic tube to the fumoto to drain it. Just a thought...;) Go with the valve...you'll thank me ltr...:drunk:

I had one explode in the shop one day. One of the installers wired it wrong and boom...smoke. it popped a panel off but no real damage other than the stink.
