Call Alcan out of Grand Junction. Weigh the rear of your Tacoma Loaded 1st though, they will use that to build what you want.

 

I would suggest leaving it alone until you feel you can afford a full leaf pack replacement. OME Dakar and Alcan are both great options. AAL is just a band-aid.

 

Good to hear. There is a sweet skull one in Home Depot by the handles and knobs section. Paint it brass and you're set.

 

I drain and filled mine once at 100k and did the diy flush at 200k.

Im thinking about going down to the Telluride/Ouray area for a few days between jobs here in about a week and a half. I have never been to the area before and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions of where to camp? I am not looking for anyone to share their secret spot, just looking for general areas where there is nice dispersed camping available. I will be arriving during the week (probably a wednesday or thursday) and leaving during the weekend. Havent decided yet whether I want to take my teardrop and make a base camp or just take the truck to keep things more mobile and camp a different place each night. The only thing set in stone while I am down there is I want to hit black bear. Thanks in advance everyone!
