Wait or buy that is the question? I’m really interested in the TRD pro and wasn’t quite sure if I go with the 18 or wait a month for the 19. Seen a few in my area but the pickens are getting rare. Was wondering if get better price on the 18 as well.
Or say screw it and stomp on the new 19’s.

Plus hearing all these rumours about Apple car play maybe coming, sunroofs, etc with the new tacos.

Anyone else thinking of getting the TRD Pro this year?

Pick the color you want not the year. Price may be higher for 2019's?

a few changes to the 2019 Pro

The TRD Pro will get an additional inch of lift, LED fog lights, a new-look “TOYOTA” grille, a hood scoop, “TRD Pro” stamping on the bed, black-chrome exhaust tips, and 18-inch BBS aluminum wheels.

TRD Pro gets new 2.5-inch Fox front shocks with 46 mm pistons and 8 bypass zones. The front suspension also gains a new set of springs that give it an extra inch of lift and a larger front sway bar. Also available only on the Pro is Voodoo Blue color.

Saw no mention of Car-Play but it is sorely needed and I hope they add it to all of the upper tier models.

No doubt there will be a premium for the 2019 over the 2018 but that pricing is not public yet. Once it's announced it will be easier to make the 2018 v 2019 decision. No matter which way it goes, there probably won't much negation room on the pricing of either.

'tips', as in plural, as in more than one?

Faux duals? Like a muffler with one in - two outlets?

Or an actual two stream exhaust? Nah............ not happening.

You'll get to enjoy voodoo blue for a year before they say "hey it's selling like crazy, let's extend it to Carollas and Yaris' and every other damn thing we can think of!".

You're confusing changes to the Tundra and things that are already standard on the Tacoma pro.

BBS wheels, "new springs" and bed stamp are for the tundra, not tacoma

The Tacoma already has the LED fog lights, grill, and 1" "lift" (thats relative to OR not last years pro).

The only changes to the TACOMA pro for 19 are: new voodoo color, optional snorkel, JBL audio system, and the exhaust tip is now black. Thats it.

So for example if you order a 2019 TRD Pro in white without the snorkel, the ONLY differences from 2018 will be: JBL stereo and black exhaust tip.

It's all on the web: JBL, red TRD on the skid plate, and the snorkel as an option. My dealer says about $500 more, but the JBL option makes me think it will be higher. I'm getting an 18 MT Pro built July 27 next week. The JBL would be nice but the sound system is much better than my 2nd gen, so...

I think some of those option are for the Tundra or 4runner according to my dealer, but we won't know until someone actually gets on in a few months.

Don't forget that red TRD stamp on the skid plate, at least it was on the model at the Chicago auto show in February. The JBL is a good option.
