All I can say for sure is... texans and everywhere really talks a lot of shit on cali.

But I still saw lifted trucks and lowered cars, heard exhaust notes everywhere, the weather is fucking perfect and I had no problem getting straws at restaurants lol. Idk why everyone hates on cali. I know the taxes are crazy but other than that, I’ve had awesome experiences so far.

Doesn’t hurt you’re moving to one of the best parts of Cali, the central coast.

Second only to the Sierras of course

I'm from the Midwest originally. Been here almost 30yrs. Won't leave. I can be at the mountains in a 1.5hrs or ocean in 20 mins. Can't do that in Chicago. You'll like it here. Was in el Paso a year ago to visit son at ft.bliss. way too hot in july.....

It’s been 100-110 for months now lol. The Cali weather is much much much more enjoyable and the mountains are a much better sight than the flat land

Yea West Texas is a special place that I wouldn’t mind giving back to Mexico. I’ve spent 3 weeks there and that was 3 too many lol

Maybe look in Hollister area? South SJ, there's got to be some off road shops around there.

I may have tweaked a few things...
Try looking for a larger sign company in the area (I don’t know down there, maybe something like Yesco). Companies that build larger structural signs hire fabricators to build those signs. It’s different work from vehicles but your skills still apply and could offer you something you might not have tried before.

Is there any shops near San Jose anyone can recommend that sells King rebuild kits, shock oil, spherical bearings, etc.
Heading back to SLO for the weekend but Poly Performance is closed on the weekends.

    Suck.

Typical game for them. No change. Give up quick TD. Barely get a 1st down, on a 3rd down scramble. Then get stuffed on 1st down for a loss of 6. In comes Bethard. Three times his passes get deflected. Gonna be a long season.

The Salinas valley is crammed with farm equipment so I imagine there's plenty of welding to be done. Also maritime work as well. And Laguna Seca is just over the hill.
