Scouting... Not really excited to be headed directly towards a forrest fire, but I need to get up there and see what's up and put out a couple game cams.

So, I'm officially in the market for sliders. Thinking of BAMF, unpainted, 20 degrees, and weld on if I can get my friend to agree to weld them on for me. Is there any benefit to going bolt on over welding?

I too was thinking BAMF but the wait time is like 3.5 months out. I found a local guy in livermore that fabs up sliders for Tacomas and he does weld-on sliders. Bolt on are typically more heavy because of the extra hardware mounting plates. The guy in livermore says he welds plates to the frame so that if you wanted to take the sliders off you can cut it and weld it back to that plate. He can probably have a shorter window for fabrication too as he isn't swamped with orders.

Yeah someone at the mod day said they waited 15 weeks, stinks but I don't mind waiting.

BAMF is the best option available in my opinion. I have had my weld on sliders for a few years. They have saved me from rocker damage time after time.

Does anyone know if I can pick them up in person from BAMF or do I have to ship them?

Did you go bolt on or weld on? Did you get the DOM upgrade?
