Yup. I had a bit of rake going. Now she sits nearly level. It’ll probably settle a little I think. Overall very happy though. And how about that nice cushy ride, right? Love it.

Pretty sure you could also do that area that's known as the second Grand canyon. Might be in the area if I read it right.

I really need to get my ass in gear to get a route together. I've got the ME, MA, & CT/RI Delorme/gazeeters coming in today as well as the national geographic for BSP

 

You'll want the natgeo maps for upper and lower Allagash. They actually show more of the roads you'll want. 401 & 402 maybe?

 

Shit....I had the lower allagash one in my cart but wasn't sure if I was going to head north over and around BSP or south and under. So I left it out

 

Delorme will have the same stuff. But the national geographic one is waterproof and fits on a hood

 

Wow, there aren't even any snowmobile trails that go in that area. I will probably never see it then.

I think one of my projects before winter is going to be a garage subpanel. When the original owner built the garage (it was an addition along with another room), for some reason he only ran a single 20A circuit to it. I don't understand it because the garage is an oversized two car and the guy was handy enough to build the house himself, so why wouldn't you want the capability? I want a larger air compressor, plug for a welder, and heat out there and I can't do that without (in the words of Tim Allen) more power!

I've been pricing it out and it's not too bad. A small 100 amp panel, 2 gauge URD cable, all the breakers, plugs, and the 12 and 8 gauge wiring for the garage itself are a few hundred bucks.

I'm thinking I'm going to do a 5000-6000W shop heater. No venting, and though it's not the most efficient way to heat for the couple days I'll use it in the winter it's no big deal. I just want something good enough to get it into the 50s so my hands aren't numb trying to work.
