They're good lookin' cheap and fun cars. It's better than a 90's econobox Mustang, that's for sure.

I have always felt the same as far as what they look like, and I'd feel a little goofy driving one, but damn they have got to be a pile of fun

 

He's insecure in his sexuality and thinks that owning a Miata is like listening to George Michael or Elton John.

I like Miatas, but a Honda S2000 would be my first choice

 

S2000's are way more money though because they're newer. I wouldn't buy a new Miata, but like he was saying, pick an old one up for 4-5k and it would be a super fun daily

 

If I ever built one it would be clean and simple. I'd have none of that ratted out shitbox drift missile flair that seems to popular with YouTubers

 

Agreed, no slamming the thing on the ground to be "stanced" I hate that shit. Drifting looks cool but it has proliferated the number of zip tied together, clapped out hoopties that vape smoking kids think are so cool

 

S2000’s are nice, but damn expensive. Miatas are cheap and plentiful.

Got a Nissan Juke for a rental car this weekend *sigh*

Has AWD at least which is fun, not used to taking turns so fast especially in my truck. Thing has absolutely zero torque though.

 

Asked the guy at Enterprise if they had any manual transmissions and he told me some of their cars have paddle shifters

Sometimes I wish it was ok to slap people that say dumb things.

I got a Dodge Challenger rental in Missouri a couple years back with a 6 speed manual and big v8, that thing was fun as hell, except it was winter and snowy everywhere.
