prob takes some getting used to, Id try it out but I like the traditional curve of triggers

 

let me know how it feels, I ask because I had bought a Seekens a little while ago, but the throw is so aggressive, (not a smooth flip like traditionally they are) I have come to disliking it a lot. Instead of the transfer from one flat to the opposing flat (what the spring is pushing on) is like 90 degrees instead of the 45ish degree of standard safeties. making it really hard to throw.

No, but I do have a milspec off brand that I bought before opting to go FDE that looks to be OK.

 

All ready to start the build. I'll slap in a PSA trigger while I wait for the back-ordered LaRue.

I did - ended up getting the barrel from Primary. The Wylde barrels I was looking at on Gunbroker either didn't list the ramp configuration...or I just was missing it. The Ar15 5.56 barrels had it plain as day.

 

did you end up getting your go/no go gauges?

Thank you, thats the $36 nock off on eBay. (little bit of love here, little bit love there, & she's solid as a rock!) took the other $210 and bought the turret matched scope. No threads because that"s one of the first Ruger American 17HMR'S to hit the market before they offered it. I haven't put them on because Ive been to busy doing customers gun's. But I guess I could have done it while I was threading the bolt though.

 

Col., Is your barrel already dimpled for the low profile gas block? If not, I used this gig and it worked perfectly. I used a Yankee hill, its position is all the way back to the barrel sleeve. Be advised Not all low profile blocks are like that.
