2018 Nor Cal Wheeling, Camping and BS

You need to have a close up look at my tires before going to 35. It’s a major pain in the ass when you do.

 

Im at a 275 right now and I already want to regear. I have no power going up hills.

 

The Baja 1000 is November 14-18 this year. I think the race itself is 16th and 17th.

Last year was my 3rd trip to Baja. I watched the race from race mile 700. We went down for 2 weeks and drove like 2,000 miles of dirt. It was super fun.

I’ve been there for Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Years. Either are a good time of the year.

 

Right. Didn’t notice that. I have the 4 liter.

 

Im not much of a desert kinda guy (yet)
I prefer rain, mud and cold over dry, dusty and hot lol

That being said i do want to get out to the desert more. Camped out by Gardnerville NV a few years back and it was fun. Would have been more fun if it were in my own truck!

Eventually there will be too much snow on the mountains to get to my spots, luckily it only last a couple of months... I will keep you desert runners in mind tho

 

I’m totally a mountain guy myself. I would love to live in the mountains.

However I love the desert too. But, I don’t think I’d like to live in the desert.

On the other hand I do toss around the idea of “retiring” at 45 and living in my truck on a beach in Baja from time to time.

 

Totally need to be a rear end swinger!

 

Use to fill them with co2 and put a pipe on hose end. And shoot a lead weight on a line and run gill nets for perach in chicago..

 

Damn only 8.35? I've been wasting so much time walking to a toilet.

 

I might take you up on that, I want to go 35s and would love to see where im going to have problems.

At 68 (I think) hopefully he had some fun wheeling trips under his belt. And since he hit his head, I'm hoping it was quick and relatively painless.

 

We're going to have to play it by ear, if my trucks running we can grab bla beer and a burger, if not I could probably use an extra set of hands. I'll shoot my digits your way .
