I didn't until stationed in Europe. Started in Germany with white wines ... not dry ones, but the fruity sweet ones are pretty delicious to me. For a long time I still didn't think I liked red wines, until a friend stationed in Italy came to visit us in England. He brought over an Italian table wine to go with the homemade pizzas Kristi made for dinner. It was delicious as well. I think for me the wines have become nostalgic of my memories of those times in my life.

SPECIAL NOTE: If you want a treat to share with your wife, once in your life try Ice Wine (if you can find an Austrian or German "Eiswein" even better)... it ain't cheap, but you won't regret it, promise.

3 hrs 35 mins ... trying to nap but I got pre-hunt anticipation mind buzz big time.

I know we've spoke of this "sir" crap before, but I'll let it slide since you don't give a crap anyway. ;)

Good morning y’all, supposed to be a good weather weekend. I hope it will be clear enough to see the meteor showers, and I can stay awake. Have a good one.

    Good Morning
Typical Saturday morning. Wife is sleeping in, she deserves it. Dogs are all feed. Having coffee on deck. Wind shifted, so no manure smell.

    Sounds REAL good :hungry:

I'm not a wine drinker either. I'll have a small glass at a holiday meal. Wife likes it, so I buy it for her. When I was a kid my dad made wine. He got all the grapes, berries and other fruit free from work. When my mom passed away in march we were going through her house and found 5 bottles of dad's wine dated back to 1977. We opened 1 bottle that still had a good seal. It smelled and tasted more like brandy

Wine, gin, bourbon - yes please. Beer has to be on the lighter side. GI tract doesn't handle the darker flavorful types with more hops/barley.
