For blues I'd recommend skids and sliders. Tires and lift help too.

I'm not familiar with any other locations. I moved up to PA about a year ago and my truck sits for the most part.

Phoenixville here! Camping at French Creek is decent for the Chester County area. I believe they have hookups for camping trailers at some sites, then just tents at other sites. It's been 10 years since I camped up there, so things may have changed. I've been wanting to get back up there

As someone else mentioned, it is SGL so fall/winter is will most likely have hunters in the woods except for Sunday. It's actually not bad deer hunting for a SGL

 

Just a heads up. If this trail is on State Game Lands, the PGC takes a dim view of vehicles off road. Same goes for state parks. Best check before clearing. The Game Warden visits the range there a lot.
