Voted for toyo mt because I love the way they look. I'll likely go with 255/85/16 on my next set. I currently am running 10 falkens on my two rigs and love them.

 

Only get STT Maxxs if you're ok with the possibility of them going to the wires after 6k miles of road usage

 

Not at all quieter than the nitto G2s they replaced

I like em a lot. Really like my toyo AT IIs on last rig as well.

 

They hum a little, but not as loud as full-on mud tires. More than most A/T tires, in my experience, but less than mud terrains.

 

Was your truck aligned?

 

I'm curious, what were your issues with the ST MAXX? Seeing how I have them, longevity is definitely a concern. I've put around 500 miles on mine and they're sitting at 18/32 at all four corners.

 

@CedarPark looks like I randomly got august 26th off it's a Sunday. Would you want to go somewhere? I'm down for hidden falls again or we can go to gilmer. I'm down, but I can't run too late into the day. I have work the next day at 0600. I really need to test my lift and tires. I haven't been to HF since I've removed the spacers, installed the 3" lift and 33" tires and repaired most of the undercarriage.

 

I should have the diffs broken in and the new tires on by then. Seems like a great opportunity to test it all out.

 

Not my truck, buddy's old 5.3 Tahoe, and not perfect but well enough. Tires wore even. 2 we're bald at 6k, other two weren't much better.

They just wore fast as hell, no idea why. Discount Tire and Cooper wouldn't do anything about it, either.

Down af. For whatever. I start classes on the 28th so that'd work perfectly for me.
