After talking to headstrong I'm looking at 888 coils with gen 2 bilstein 5100's, light racing uca's up front with there 3 leaf AAL keeping the overload spring in.
I have mobtown sliders and an Insain fab aluminum bumper with no winch.
Anyone running something close..? And can give me a review..
Looking to keep my stock rims (2016 TRD OR double cab) and step up to 265/75/16's.
Hoping for no rub or fitment issues.
Seems like I might get 2" lift in the back with about 2 1/2" lift up front.. does this seem right..?
    Any input would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

Are you still satisfied with your lift. I have the exact same setup that I'm about to install. Did you go with the 1/4" spacers for taco lean? Still getting 3" of lift after settling? Thanks!

Those of you running 5100's, are the drivers side spacers recommended? has anyone not put them on and regretted it?

Is this what you you are looking for. 5100 fronts set at 1.55 and rear add a leaf with 265/75/16. At 5.5 backspacing on the rims. No issues. C2F4A949-B235-4225-8404-B236BFE14DE3.jpg

i'm running 285/75/R16 Falken wildpeak at3w. E Rated. on stock off roaf wheels. I also have 1.25" spydertrax wheel spacers to give it a more aggressive stance. I also added the Deaver single aal. This aal is just a bandaid for the stock leaf pack.. I left the overload leaf in and it gave me 2 inches of lift in the rear. front was 2.25. this was after it had all settled.

ive been running stock OR wheels for the past year. with spidertrax wheel spacers and they look good. its time for an upgrade though.

They are recommended if you're running aftermarket springs for lift wit the 5100s. If you're just raising the perch, the stock front springs are supposed to compensate for the overloaded driver side so a spacer isn't needed.

To those of you all running 5100s with 887 coils..how are you achieving close to 3" of lift with just those? According to the coil chart, 887s only give 2.25" of lift on the first setting.

I'm looking to shove some 33s under the truck with 887 coils....it sounds like some of you guys are worried about 265s fitting, ha. I got 265/70/17s on my truck now with 885 coils and they barely rub my mud flap, I think you'll be alright with 887 coils on.

i'm getting 2.25 inches of lift as it says with 887s.

Bed cover and Mud flaps, OEM Audio, Super Bump stops, Sumo Springs, Bed Stiffeners, Stryker hood shocks
you can also add super bumpstops up front and sumo springs in the back, I did that a couple weeks ago and the SBS up front really helped and the sumo springs allow me to haul heavy loads without the back end dropping..

Nice, that's what I'm going to be getting as well, some more Falkens - 285/70/17 though.

I spent the morning installing the front 5100’s and OME 885s that I got from Headstrong Off-Road. I went for the pre-assembled strut/coil option so I didn’t have to mess with coil compressors (those things scare the sh!t out of me). Well worth the cost and doing so shifted this from a have-a-shop-do-it to a DIY’er in my garage. All told, took me a little less than 3 hrs including running all over the house assembling tools, jack stands, a paint pen that worked, etc.

This video: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=IOW-FRDl5wg&t=347s was my guide and I also used it to make sure I had all the right tools ahead of time. The video also lists all the torque specs (hope they are right).

I went for the 1/4” spacer plate on the driver side to correct the Taco lean. Post lift measurements show 23” from center of wheel to bottom of fender on both sides, up previously from 21” passenger and 20 3/4” driver. But I’m expecting the front to sag 1/4” to 1/2”. I’ve got massive bro-lean going on right now with the rears at 21 1/2 and 21 respectively, so ain’t showing pics until I get the rear lifted. I do have a canopy and a drawer system in the bed weighing of 350 lbs give or take, currently being supported by Sumo Springs.

Plan right now is to grab some lunch then go do the rear. 5100s w/ single AAL. Debating leaving the Sumo Springs. We’ll see how it looks/rides.

Update: 24 hrs and 20-ish mile driven later the fronts settled an at 22” on the nose driver/passenger sides. Rears measured 22 1/2” passenger and 22 1/4” driver. So 1/2” rake or pretty durn near level since it is a DCLB.

not sure but the 887’s i have with dakars give me a factory rake when my beds empty. Two dirtbikes, to sets of riding gear and tools sits level. Ive freighted it pretty good and have yet to make them sag.

Got the rear done this afternoon then went for a drive to see how things felt. Couldn’t help myself when I stopped at the grocery store...

How do you like the 285 falkens? I have 265s and am thinking about stepping up, but I’ve read some bad reviews on the 285s. Said the sidewalls have too much sway when hauling a load. Any input?

Yes. With the weight of the canopy and my drawers (plus all the stuff in them) the rear needs the support. I’ll let it all settle and see where I end up in a few weeks. It may be that I’ll need the Dakar HD leaf pack.

Did you end up needing the ECGS bushing or did you just get it done as a proactive measure?
