Need suggestions for New Shocks For Front

This topic has never been discussed on this board, so I'm interested as well. Seriously, you couldn't have typed in those three brands or the word 'shocks' in the search box?

OP you try the search bar before you post a thread. I would go with Bilstein 5100s up front. I have mine set at 2.5 inch lift.

Yea I would go with bilsteins or old man emu, both are way better than stock and will last. Plan on spending 150-200 bucks for a pair of good shocks...

 

billstein 5100's, but they are near impossible to find.

 

why are they so difficult to find

 

Most vendors sold out of them and it is taking the manufacturer a long time to catch up with sales. The 5100s are very popular.

 

because they are very popular. Downsouth motorsports got a shipment in a few weeks ago and they were all gone within like 2 days. They don't expect more untill like august or something like that. I would just go with OME if I were you but they are a bit more $.

 

If you want to stay with struts and not upgrade to adjustable coil-overs, go Bilstein, or Old Man Emu (OME). These are by far your most affordable, and best performing options. Personally, I would go with OME if you are simply replacing the struts and not looking to add lift.

 

i installed a 2.5 " rough country suspension and its so stiff in the front they got the rough part right, and the shocks in the front are the original shocks

 

yea, those spacer lifts are junk. If you're looking for that amount of lift, go OME with a set of their lift springs that suit your weight requirements.
