Bought my truck new in July 2018, hardly any use. Just ordered a topper so I'm looking for a new home for the tonneau.

    Dual cab, short bed (5'2").

I will trade my bed side protector plastic (notched for tonneau) for your uncut rails. Includes pins and all related hardware.

I would like to avoid shipping if possible. Located in Portland, Oregon but will consider meeting halfway if you're in a neighboring area.

    edit: SOLD

Not keen on shipping because size / weight plus the bed rail swap.

I'll be going by Portland area on holidays in a couple of weeks. Only issue is I hate driving in the city of Portland and I'll be pulling a TT.

Do you have a fair amount of smoke in the air? I was thinking of coming through the Cascade mountains then south to Mount Saint Hellens.

It was moderately smokey for a few days last week, but not at the moment. The low-level smoke gets pushed in / out by the marine air flows so it changes from day to day.

Not the worst we've had in recent years.

My holidays start on Sept 3rd. I'll PM you on an approx ETA but if you do have a buyer before then don't feel obligated that you have to hold on to it for me.

Bought a new Toyota Tocoma 2018 TRD 4X4 Sport 2 days ago w/short bed. Can meet you. From Roseburg. My bed has a full liner that covers top edge of bed. It has two rails inside top edge that has adj knobs for the tie downs that slide to any position. Is that what you need? If so I’d like to meet and exchange and purchase the cover

Hi, sorry if I mentioned rails in my post, the cargo rails are a different part. What I was referring to are the plastic "protector" pieces that go over the top / inside edge of the bed sides. These can be carefully pryed out by hand.

The OEM tonneau cover requires three notches in these pieces. You can swap for my set (which has notches) or cut the notches yourself.

Check out this thread to see what I mean:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/oem-tonneau-cover-install.444415/

I'm only available on weekends if it's a long out-of-town trip...

Don’t think I want to take factory rails off my truck so I’m going to pass. Probably just put a soft cover on to keep stuff dry Thanks for the reply.
