So Jealous! I’ve heard a lot of great things about Death Valley. I’m going to have to make a trip there sometime and do some off-roading and camping.

 

I personally do not believe that you are going in that direction on another Tacoma builder? Do not kick another when they are down! UNLESS they get up?

 

Furnace Creek Campgrounds are only $18 a day and the Furnace Creek Inn Resort in walking distance has a $5 day use fee for the pool and showers!

If you don’t have it, you need to order “Giude to California Backroads & 4-Wheel-Drive Trails” by Charles A. Wells & Matt Peterson. Nicely detailed maps and points of interest! Awesome resource! They have other editions for Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Colorado, and I believe New Mexico. Again, it’s an awesome resource!

Been wanting to do this. How does that back piece come off?

 

Load rating E; I put on 10 ply tires which is a little heavier, stronger with thicker side walls. I drove it on 150 miles of highway and the ride feels more planted and as smooth as the Goodyear wranglers that the truck came with. A little noiser than the wranglers but not enough to bother me. No rubbing yet but we'll see when I take it off-roading tomorrow.
